Barao submits McDonald in 4th, retains bantamweight title

If there was any doubt who are the two best bantamweight fighters in the UFC before Saturday, there's none left now.

Renan Barao, who defeated Urijah Faber for the interim bantamweight championship in July at UFC 149, scored a solid victory over young hotshot Michael McDonald in the main event of UFC on Fuel TV 7 at London's Wembley Arena.

With a fourth-round submission win, Barao solidified his spot as the top contender to champion Dominick Cruz, who remains sidelined with a knee injury.

"Dominick Cruz, I'm ready for you. Please come quick," Barao said through an interpreter.

Why? So you can make sure you never accidentally listen to it?I think the half the arena was asleep by the time he actually made it to the cage.

Awesome fight. Looks like McD slipped on the wizzer, but that's all it takes is a single mistake. I really like McD striking, also the power and speed he generates in most of his moves is fun to watch. Both fighters put on a good showcase.

Probably thought he could pull his shoulder through and get out of danger. That is one of my favorite transitions from the back.
