Australian-based fighter Jamie Te Huna has been given golden opportunities to press his claims for a UFC title shot, called in as late replacement to face a top five opponent at UFC 160 in May.
The UFC announced this morning that Te Huna (16-5) — currently on a four-fight win streak in the light heavyweight division — would replace the injured Ryan Bader in a division-shaping bout against number four-ranked Brazilian Glover Teixeira (20-2).
The news comes just days after it was announced that number nine-ranked heavyweight Mark Hunt (9-7), also on a four-fight win streak and fresh from a devastating knock-out victory over highly-rated Dutchman Stefan Struve, would replace the injured Alistair Overeem against the number one contender to Cain Velasquez's heavyweight title, former champion Junior dos Santos (15-2).
