TUF 17 star Hall: Rousey 'kicked my a--' on the ground

by Marc Raimondi |

Uriah Hall thought it was great that Ronda Rousey visited the "Ultimate Fighter" cast members during their filming over the winter. He thought it was even better that they didn’t show his grappling sessions with the UFC women’s bantamweight champion.

Hall, who fights at 185 pounds – 50 more than Rousey, underestimated the former judo Olympic medalist intitially. He found that to be a terrible mistake.

"I said to myself, ‘I can get out of this,’" Hall told The Post. "Then she caught me and I was like, ‘Oh my God, this [expletive] is real.’"

Hall, a Queens resident, said Rousey got him in two armbars while grappling – and he couldn’t get out. He compared it to rolling with an anaconda or a cat. Rousey is 7-0 as a professional with every win coming via first-round armbar.

"You can’t grab her and if you do grab her, you’re [expletive]," Hall said with a laugh.

"Thank God they didn’t show that, because she totally kicked my ass," Hall said, laughing.

if you're implying you would be like Sam Fisher from Splinter Cell and could insert your shame branch in her baby door, hidden and undetected from the shadows while avoiding an arm bar....then two things are immediately true:1) you're an non-convicted rapist2) you have a small shame branch3) you're a goddamn national hero

why do you say she doesnt like getting hit in the face? shes been tagged a number of times and seemed to handle it perfectly well by continuing to engage and getting the takedown....just because you take it to the ground it doesnt mean you dont like getting hit....when guys dont like to get hit, you can see their spirit or confidence drop each time they are tagged, which isnt really the case with ronda that ive seen so far...

It doesn't surprise me. He most likely finishes guys quick and has no experience on the ground. I have seen so many fights on TUF where the guy on the bottom does not have a clue what to do. That being said Rhonda is improving every day but I still think her striking is weak and she does not like to get hit in the face. He striking in her last fight while Liz was on the ground and Rhonda was standing was comical. She will continue to win until the rush to clinch and judo throw do not work and she has to strike in a stand up position, then it could get rough.I do enjoy the recent woman's MMA that is getting press now.
