White: Mitrione, what was the point?

"It's one of those things, it's just a pain in the ass, you know what I mean?" White said. "First of all, he didn't even need to be doing an interview. And I'm going to talk to these guys. I'm going to talk to these guys. The only time these guys really need to be doing interviews is leading up to fights. You know? It ended up being a nightmare for him."

That's open to debate, since, after all, scores of fighters have done interviews after their fights over the years without causing themselves or their company any problems. But White does recognize that Mitrione's damage was self-inflicted.

"What was the point of that interview?" White continued. "There was no point in it. Now it's caused him a bunch of headaches and problems. It's caused us a bunch of headaches and problems for no reason whatsoever."

"He had just fought. He wouldn't fight again for another few months and he's still over there enjoying himself in Sweden, what was the point in doing that interview? What was the upside in that interview? There was none. No upside."

I'm just pissed off that people still think he knocked that guy out with his hip when he clearly hit him with a right hand.

Joe Rogan agrees with Mitrione. Maybe we should suspend everyone who is against men beating women.

I like seeing images of Dana posing with fat stacks of cash, looking like a drug dealer or like Lloyd. What's the point in that? He looks like a clown and he acts like one. If this were a serious sports organization, he'd be suspended, not Mitrione.

You totally misses the sarcasm. I really don't give a shit how long it would take. This guy is saying 6 yrs isn't enough time to change from a man to a woman. Oh really?

It's so fucking wrong word's can't explain. Dana your wrong. Do the right thing and in a month get Matt outta suspension with a well constructed apology. I wish Fallon Fox would go away. Horrible for the sport.

How does calling someone a "disgusting freak" help promote yourself? And if it does, do you think that there should be no consequences for his choice of words?

I love people like Dana. He knows he has these guys bent over and there's nothing they can do. People like that are nothing more than douchebags and cowards. They would get their ass beat or they'd lose the employee if they had other options, but Dana knows there's not much out there so he says and does what he wants.Dana White, truly you are a bitch.

Well, well, well. DFW is trying to build a women's division, so has developed a PC conscience.

Agreed. Fighters promote THEMSELVES first and foremost, not just their next fights - just like the UFC does. They don't have to do it, but it makes financially sense, to say the least. Staying relevant, getting more fans, having draw power.
