LOL!Yeah that ref was mad annoying,i was just waiting for Meisha to say "shut the F up, i'm nowhere near her eyes"!That ref just seems to want to feel like she's in charge in every fight i see her ,horrible ref. And she stopped that fight too early.

I thought Meisha had a little more fight in her when it got stopped but I couldn't argue the stoppage at all. Meisha had just taken repeated knees to the face without defending other than staggering backwards. Then takes an elbow to the face. She drops for a super sloppy takedown that showed she was knocked silly. Meisha was done for the most part. I think the ref was unwilling to allow her to take a ton more damage in the slim hope she might be able to get a submission. Meisha was clearly gassed and wasn't defending herself very well. Letting the fight go would have been another classic example of a fight going way too long if Cat continued to smash Meisha.

I thought that Cat gassed earlier after she tried to finish the guillotine. After that her arms looked like spaghetti.

I think it was stopped at the right time. I mean how many knees and elbows did she need to take?Tate would have just kept taking damage, I see no reason for it.It's like saying "oh he was in a kimura, but he was okay since his arm wasn't pulled out of its socket".

She had a tough job. She wanted to make sure that the women didn't resort to eye scratching and hair pulling. I believe she kept telling them both to watch it.She was probably annoying because men never do that stuff in fights growing up, but girls have. She was just making sure that they didn't resort to that stuff.

You don't watch alot of women fights do you? Cyborg fights like a guy. Liz Carmouche and Gina Carano have excellent stand up. In fact Gina was kickboxer coming into MMA.

Hard sparring leads to injuries and can keep you from earning a pay check. IMO you shouldn't be using more than 60% intensity. Some will argue that 80 or 90% is more realistic.
