Roy Nelson's reinvestment plan

Legendary Irish soccer player George Best famously said "I spent 90% of my money on women, drink and fast cars. The rest I wasted."

UFC heavyweight Roy Nelson recently appeared on Inside MMA and said he is investing his recent winnings, which include three bonuses his last four fights, on bringing up the level of his training camp.

“I’ve taken that money that I’ve earned with these bonuses and re-invested in myself. Because all these other times, I didn't have the money to form a team around me."

“My biggest focus is Cain Velasquez and Antonio Silva. I’m eying that gold, but I’m always down to fight anybody."

So who do you want to see an epically trained Roy Nelson fight next?

He really needs a top 10 win, so investing in his training instead of training out of his basement is a good thing.

I like him. A skilled, tough dude that walks to the beat of his own drummer.

Ive always liked Roy Nelson. Great entertainer, amazing fighter.  I don't know wtf Danas problem is, I'd be honored to have someone like Roy fighting for my organization.

training with Jeff Mayweather has done wonders for Roy's confidence in his hands.

I think at lhw he gets killed because of the speed of those guys. At hw his so-so cardio is okay at lhw it would be a huge liability.

You can't argue that he's doing great as a heavyweight right now, but I would still love to see him put some of that money towards a dietician and drop down.
