Ignoring the past rarely benefits a person.

Pride is dead and dead for a reason. DEAL WITH IT. UFC is the present and the future. You people prop up these people because of their association with PRIDE and cling to the past like some kind of pathetic cult.

I am just asking because I don't know but when I saw just the UFC logo I thought he had elected to wait until he landed a BIG sponsor (and he would had if he won). I though Jones was wearing just UFC for a bit for that reason.  I know I should research but though someone might have a quick answer to this.

I agree that the stop was okay, however, a lot of guys work really hard to get to this point.  I think that they would rather be be beaten sensless until they are KO'd rather than taking few rabbit punches after getting clipped.

you do not fully understand the rule.  Turning away from the punch does not make the punch back of the head.  if the action is taken to avoid the punch by turning the head so the strike lands at the back of the head, it does not constitute a back of the head strike.  There is no fault when the recipient turns their head during action.

The last two strikes that ended the fight were huge shots right to the back of the head, I'm not even counting the ones wile Silva is turning away from the punches.LOL, but Silva should win that fight by DQ.
