In an interview with the Brazilian Portuguese language radio show “Pânico” former UFC heavyweight champion Junior Dos Santos said ahead of his October rubber match with Cain Velasquez that Velasquez hits like a girl.
"I had no cut against Cain Velasquez," said JDS, "And he hits like a girl. He hit me a lot during the five rounds, but did not open any cuts, although I was very bloated and had to go to the hospital."
The mention of the hospital refers to a potentially fatal medical condition that JDS developed in training for Velasquez in their second fight, which Cain won in spectacular fashion.
The pair fight for the third time in the main event of UFC 166 in Houston, Texas on October 19.
"I think we can be like Muhammad Ali and Joe Frazier and all those guys," said JDS in an interview last month. "I really think we can have a lot of fights... My development is getting better every day. I think Cain Velasquez and me are going to have great fights for the fans."
