Don't see how they are going to crossover to a PPV model in that quick a timeframe.

i liked it... i've only seen Askren fight 1-2 times before, and kinda came in biased with him being "boring." but i thought he was pretty active, maintaining position, throwing strikes (albeit "pitter-patter" strikes), and simply dominating the russian.yeah, he could work on his subs, or add some power to his strikes, but he stomped him pretty badly, and barely looked tired...

This. I also thought Koreshkov did really good for the first 30seconds or so before he got gassed. He is a squirrely guy with a ton of talent, Askren just outclassed him with his wrestling.

I enjoyed Askren's performance too, although he really should have finished that arm triangle. He needs to sharpen up his submissions.

Am I the only one who enjoyed Askren's fight last night? I thought it was a masterful display of wrestling, he beat that poor guy up pretty badly. I was about as impressed with his fight as I was with Chandler steamrolling the Caveman.

He definitely has great skills but like I said if he can't get the takedown things get dicey with him because his defense and chin are suspect.Oh and I'm not sure he "smashed" Mousasi. He repeatedly took him down and it went the distance. He definitely won clearly but like I said I think Mousasi would have a good chance of winning a rematch today.

Mo has smashed Mousasi and KOed guys like Larkin and Rodger in virtually no time. I get he got caught when he was trying to be a boxer... But he is back to putting people down a d he has heavy hands. I think he could beat anyone on any given night...he is one of the best wrestlers in MMA... He is actually world class. That's just my opinion tho.

Newton is legit. He got robbed against Vegh. Mo is a little chinny and suspect on defense so even though his hands are good, he's always gonna be a little vulnerable if he can't get takedowns.I do think Newton is the #2 LHW in Bellator behind Rampage, and that he'd even give Rampage a very close fight.

Mo better go straight takedown and GnP in the rematch

Newton is still underrated, guys who never watched him fight just see him as a scrub who KOd Mo just to bash Mo even more Its not a given Mo beats Newton in a rematch, he is tough to takedown, has good striking and already s KOd Mo. I like King Mo, but Newton is no slouch, I will be routing for him against Vegh and will want to see the rematch vs Mo I thought he beat Vegh the first time
