GSP: I'll pay for VADA testing for rest of my career

GSP is one of the mentally strongest fighters in MMA history, able to execute a gameplan flawlessly, without emotional intrusion or distraction.

When Nick Diaz was matched with St-Pierre at UFC 158, the Stockton native did everything he could to get under GSP's skin, inlcuding the entirely unfounded charge that GSP used Performance Enhancing Drugs, something St-Pierre has never tested positive for after countless examinations.

"I believe he is on plenty of steroids," said Diaz. "And I don't think they test around here, either... If so, he's probably got a bottle of p--- in his pocket. I doubt they're standing over him making sure he's not on steroids."

At the time, GSP expressed a complete willingness to subject himself to the most stringent testing available. Now he is making good on the offer, and he is paying for it.

"One reporter asked me if I would be willing to be tested - I said yes, I would be willing to be tested with VADA," St-Pierre told MMAFighting.com. "I believe that VADA is the best anti-doping agency in the world. And I'm willing to be tested. You cannot be against."

"I'm ready to pay myself, because I'm the champion. All from my purse, I paid for the tests because I'm the champion. That's why I'm ready, I'm ready to do it. That's a point I want to make.

"I wouldn't mind doing it for the rest of my career. Of course it sucks. They can come anytime, you have to give your address and then in the morning. It sucks. But it's my sport and it could be an inconvenience of my job, I'll do it no problem."

"A lot of people accuse me. For me, when they accuse me, I take that as a compliment. I believe they compliment my athleticism. I want to prove also that it's possible to be champion without using drugs, and I know VADA is the most professional, it is the best for that."

Wow for a self proclaimed mma interpreter you can't even interpret a simple posts. Where exactly did I say only people who don't work out would know HGH bellys lmao. Awesome reading buddy so that's all you interpreted from my post? That right there tells me your blinded in your own ways. Only hearing what you want to hear and your 1 statement to discredit my posts isn't even what I said. Atleast have a real discussion about what you think is ridiculous because everything I said is common knowledge. What do u have to say about GSPs body looking the same since he started fighting? +- a few pounds for different fights. But overall his stomache, back, thighs everything hasn't changed all that much. If he's been on HGH all these years where are the other symptoms? So I guess he is the luckiest Long term user ever to avoid every side effect except a "protruding belly". I'm not the one jumping to ridiculous conclusions here, your the one basing your ridiculous argument on pictures of a fit stomache. If you trained with guys who work the core religiously maybe you wouldn't be so shocked to see a solid core.

I'd give you a list of things that can cause a distended abdoman, but it would take up several pages. Seriously, do a search, or even just go to wikipedia. Athletes are fit and strong, but not immune to a lot of common conditions. Its why NBA basketball players have dropped dead on the court from heart attacks, why NHL superstars have come down with Hodgekin's disease etc.You can even get it just from working your core a lot.You know the saying, that if the only tool you have is a hammer, then every problem looks like a nail? Its that way with PED use such as HGH. If you think there's only one way to get a symptom, then obviously everyone with that symptom has gotten it the same way. If you know there are over a hundred known ways to get it, then you get a bit more cautious about assigning the cause.

It just seems like a mighty weak accusation, I feel like there's better candidates to deduce of being on HGH, Steroids ect. There are guys who are blatantly abusing illegal substances and fucking the system but people brush that of, say " everyone's on roids in mma bro "in their defense, but then we go on a witch hunt for GSP because of his genetically ugly tummy. The only way testing will every be reasonable is if all fighters on the roster signed to contracts have to oblige to be tested 24/7 365 within reason. ( I said within reason, so no dumb motherfuckers jumping at my neck " what if the person is on vacation in Zimbabwe" ) Obviously the drug testing now is a joke and makes it very easy to cheat but GSP is not a sensible target to accuse of this...I am sorry.I for one follow Bas's mentality as a fighter, I don't care if someone I fight takes steroids because no drugs can compensate for a weak mind and heart. Yes I know this may sound foolish and innocent to think or say. As a fan, I think legalizing performance enhancing drugs will kill the sport rather quickly and testing needs to be as strict as possible. Imagine you're a 2-0 pro fighter that's 21 poor, fighter for your dream working to support your own career and your opponent is a 2-0 man very rich and has the ability to take all of the best drugs when you cannot afford any.....You know, people at the top will be spending millions and millions in labs to get the edge over their opponent. Maybe this is already reality but I don't think yet, it will be though if something doesn't change in decades from now.

Ok, fair enough. For the record, I've only argued #1 and #3. Also, I've said that I have absolutely no proof GSP has ever taken anything. Here's my point: Comparing GSP's distended stomach to  the distended stomachs of known HGH users, I can see enough similarities to say that GSP has taken HGH. Again, it's purely speculative and not proven by any test, it's just my opinion. As far as money goes, the comparison I made was Lance Armstrong. Have you read any of the USADA's report on the USPS Cycling Team. I quote Tyler Hamilton, a member of the USPS team with Armstrong: "They (the Tour de France) had good doctors, but ours were better." Put simply, if you have enough money to beat the tests scientifically, you can a lot of the time, and the USPS blood doping scandal is solid evidence of that. Now, does any of that prove that GSP has taken HGH, steroids, or any other PED's? NO, OF COURSE NOT. I'm just offering my opinion on his HGH use and laughing at those who hail his taking part in VADA as "proof" of anything lol.

There's a 52 yearold man who lives next door to me who works out daily has a weight room type thing in his garage and he's relatively poor but has this ripped stomach..Yet it's a big gut too, surely he's poor because he drops the grands a year HGH costs though. How about discussing with me? You're asking for proof from the people defending GSP? BITCH! We ain't making the the accusations here, are we? He's passed 26 drug tests and failed 0. He's had a protruding core for over 12 years that we can document long before it's reasonable to believe he would of started taking highly expensive ped's. Really, what's your argument? So far I've heard...1. He has a protruding stomach ( he actually has an inverted chest which leads to the appearance of a "hgh" gut too ) 2. He's too ripped for a white man ( white people are just as ripped of athletes, but GSP is very tan so I'm sure it shows up more than say...Adlan Amagov or Conor McGregor who are freakishly shredded crackers )3. He's so rich he can take whatever he wants and get away with it. ( ummm, okay tha'fuck am I supposed to say to that? How is that any sort of proof or indicator? )4. No one gets that ripped without roids or being black. ( Yeah they do, I'm not saying all insanely ripped athletes re clean but I know a lot of people as ripped as GSP who I highly doubt are taking a bunch of drugs )

Lol, bigpimpin is jumping to a ridiculous number of conclusions, including one saying that only people who don't work out would know that GSP's HGH belly isn't an HGH belly.

Vote up!! Somebody actually knows what he's talking about.I was Gona come n say the same thing. GSP has always been ripped and his stomache the same. Dating back to his first mma fight you can. Now theoretically if he has been using HGH since his first fight(10 yrs) I'm sure he'd look alot different than just a " protruding stomache". Look at all the long term HGH users and tell me they stayed looking the same. Maybe it's just hard to believe for people who don't work out or train but anyone who's been around guys that train many of them do have the same fit, muscular stomaches. Abs are a muscle just like your biceps which you can train to look big bulky or toned and ripped. Hell if your dedicated enough you can get your abs to look big and ripped too. When a couch patatoes looks at Gsps stomache and sees " protruding stomache" all I see is a guy who's worked hard over the years to build his stomache to withstand punishment. It may look like a belly but it's hard as a rock I can guarantee its from years of training. Also you would think someone on Steroids would atleast have a "roid rage" episode that we hear about. This guy does all the testing champions do, is asking for extra testing because haters be asking for it. Is always cool and calm never snaps out under pressure, has no evidence of steroids or HGH besides a picture of his stomache lmao.. And you guys wonder why we don't want to hear your "evidence".
