Today the California State Athletic Commission released the salary information for Saturday's World Series of Fighting 4 event. The top earners were main event fighter Tyrone Spong and WSOF President Ray Sefo:

Tyrone Spong: $31,000 ($22,000 to show, $9,000 to win)

Angel DeAnda: $4,000

Spong def. DeAnda via unanimous decision


Marlon Moraes: $24,000 ($12,000 to show, $12,000 to win)

Brandon Hempleman: $3,000

Moraes def. Hempleman via unanimous decision


Nick Newell: $28,000 ($14,000 to show, $14,000 to win)

Keon Caldwell: $2,000

Newell def. Caldwell via submission


Dave Huckaba: $12,000 ($6,000 to show, $6,000 to win)

Ray Sefo: $30,000

Huckaba def. Sefo via technical knockout


Gesias Cavalcante: $18,000 ($9,000 to show, $9,000 to win)

Tyson Griffin: $8,000

Where's your source that Sefo was to get a $30K win bonus? For all I/we know, he fought for a flat fee. Spong was paid around 70% to show. Clearly he didn't get a $22K win bonus.

I tuned in to watch the JZ/Griffin, Sefo, and Spong fights. I think Sefo still has the name to draw some numbers, not huge, but I don't have a problem with a guy getting 30k for his 100th and possibly last fight... people say it's shady that he got big bucks compared to others, but how many company presidents have to get TKOd for their bonus?

Honestly they are paying their undercard fighters a lot more than Bellator does. The homie that fought Bubba Jenkins made 900 and his face was hamburger after the fight.
