White: UFC won't counter-program Bellator PPV

With the announcement that Bellator would be entering the PPV market, many expected the UFC to perhaps offer an event on the same night to draw attention away from Bellator, however that won't be the case insisted UFC President Dana White:

To say the UFC has been known to counter-program their opposition would be an understatement.

Competitors from Elite XC to Strikeforce to Affliction suddenly found UFC shows popping up on the same night as their own events over the years.

But according to UFC president Dana White, the company has no plans on countering Bellator MMA's first foray into the pay-per-view business. Asked point-blank at Thursday's UFC Fight Night press conference at the Wang Center whether the company would run a show on Nov. 2, the night of Bellator's event in Long Beach, Calif., White simply said "Nope."

For a start she never loses her shit over the net. She sorts out meet and greets with Dana not to mention the charity stuff she does for here. She contributes more than me and you combined, we contribute our OPINION which may be different from each other or hers but we do nothing outside of that like she does.

Isn't fuel done as of tomorrow? Becoming Fox Sports 2? Or is Fuel TV staying around?

You can dislike her position on things, but Cindy has helped put together a number of things for charity in the past. Anytime she is approached about a good cause, she steps up.Yes, she is friends with Dana. She has used that friendship to help a lot of folks.

With their atrocious ratings and friday night move bellator has been neutered.  They pose no threat to the UFC.  Strikeforce had a significantly more marketable roster, showtime and CBS and still couldnt make a dent into Zuffa's hegemony. When you control all the talent, distribution, brand equity and best revenue streams it's an impossible task for would be competitors. Spike should really rethink their strategy.  A network could own the "college football" space of MMA for 12m a year.  Whether it's NBC sports or Spike somebody will eventually take advantage of this.

We don't need anymore yes men around here.Oh and what has she done that's made her so valuable?
