Ortiz: Working for Dana White like slavery

Tito Ortiz had a storied history with the UFC, his former employee. Ortiz began his career in the UFC in 1997 and was one of the most well-known prolific fighters as the organization rose in popularity. However he had a very tumultuous and public relationship with the UFC and 'retired' last year and then signed a new contract with Bellator. Ortiz and 'Rampage' Jackson both spoke to Sports Illustrated today about working with their former boss, UFC President Dana White:

Tito Ortiz: "Umm, I know I thought slavery was over a long time ago." He also said, "It's just one of those things that you can't trust a word that a man says, and when you can't do that, how can you work for him?"

Rampage Jackson: "He's the type of the guy that will force you into a fight after a surgery and if you don't perform really well in the fight or you lose, he will talk crap about you in the media. Who wants to fight for a person like that?"

Agreed. The pygmy situation is a modern rare case where the truth is cut and dry and it's not like both sides were equally guilty. Godspeed, Justin.

This will be news to the hundreds of thousands living in slavery in Africa, the Middle East and Asia. Someone tell them Tito declared a new Emancipation Proclamation. A Emancipatito Proclamation, if you will.

Don't be too hard on Tito. They probably wrote this all out ahead of time. They already did it with Rampage, why wouldn't they do it with Tito?
