Low end HAS increased (from 2/3 or 3/3 to 6/6 or 9/9) but lets get real, most of the guys that come in with that salary can be replaced by other people fighting outside the org, so they dont have any leverage whatsoever. You know the guy in this season on TUF who's father pays everything for him to only train, that on top of that confesses he slacks and doesnt train much? Yep, he gets 9/9 if the UFC gives him a fight. So yeah im not too excited to see that guy get pay more than necessary.

Hey Cindy my company paid fighter's more in sponsorship money 10 year's ago then some make today. Yes I am surprised! The sport has exploded and the UFC has it monopolized. I would expect fighter's pay's to increase? Wouldn't you????? No Troll here!

Wasn't there already a thread a while ago that showed Fitch was averaging over $100k per year in net pay... Or is this just a fun fight to have all over again? As much noise as Chael talks about being the highest paid fighter and Overeem almost triples his salary haha.

Yea , that's great money if you work at mcdonalds and live in a trailer park. But not much for a PROFESSIONAL fighter that has been ranked in the top 10 of his division for years.

Just because fighters sign the contract doesn't mean its a shitty paying contract ..

I have noticed this too. I assume his contract was negotiated in Euros, or maybe Pound Sterling. So the UFC work out the exchange rate to US Dollars when releasing the fighter pay.Only logical explanation I can think off.
