Gustafsson vs. Little Nog in London on March 8

Alexander Gustafsson is not getting the immediate Jon Jones rematch with a title on the line that he had hoped for. Instead, he gets Antonio Rogerio Nogueira, in London, England on March 8, 2014.

However, should Gustafsson win, and Jon Jones win vs. Glover Teixeira, his following fight will be Jones. Still, you never know what is going to happen in mixed martial arts, which is why you have the fight.

The London card is the first of six in Europe, that the UFC hopes will showcase the sport, and elevate its prominence across the continent.

'Little Nog" is coming off what may be the Upset of the Year, beating Rashad Evans at UFC 156.

Who do you like in London UG, 'The Mauler' or Little Nog?

Gus works Nog on the feet, but if it goes to the ground, that's where things could get interesting.

Wow, Little Nog gets no love on here. If I remember correctly, most people where predicting that he stood no chance when he fought Rashad Evans as well. Little Nog holds victories over Sakuraba, Henderson, Overeem and Evans and the only fights that he has lost in the UFC have been via controversial decisions (Davis & Bader). Nog may not have enough fire power to beat Gustafsson, but at the very least, he should be competitive.

I guess I like it more than other posters do. I mean In the UFC rankings he is #5 FFS LOL. I agree Gus has a big advantage here but I don't think that this is a 10/10 either.

Yeah, is he getting the title shot if he wins? Or is this one of those one-sided deals, where Gus gets the shot if he wins, but not the other way around.

Any early ticket information? Hopefully its not £80 for the worst seats in the house again. That's about $140 to united states of Americans

Plus it's a terrible excuse, he tried to take him down 4 or 5 times and failed each time. He got caught every time he tried to close the distance or he would have attempted more.
