Earlier this week, Ian McCall revealed a severly injured hand that would force him out of his December bout vs. Scott Jorgensen. The UFC match makers scrambled like they always do and came up with a great replacement for the UFC on FOX 9 event:
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) made the announcement earlier today (Oct. 29) after Ian McCall, Jorgensen's original opponent, was forced to withdraw from the fight due to a hand injury.
The flyweight fight -- which is scheduled to take place on Dec. 14 at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California -- will mark the 125-pound debut for Jorgensen after going an even 3-3 in the bantamweight division dating back to his first Octagon appearance in 2011.
