UFC 167 main card salaries

Nevada State Athletic Commission executive director Keith Kizer reported the salaries of the main card fighters to Bloody Elbow:
Georges St-Pierre: 400K (No win bonus)
Johny Hendricks: 50K/50K
Chael Sonnen: 100K (No win bonus)
Rashad Evans: 125K/125K
Robbie Lawler: 83K/83K
Rory MacDonald: 50K/50K
Tyron Woodley: 50K/50K
Josh Koscheck: 78K/78K
Ali Bagautinov: 10K/10K
Tim Elliott: 12K/12K

The above figures are the fighter salary information that promoters are required by law to submit to the state athletic commissions, including the winners' bonuses.

The figures do not represent a full accounting of each fighter's income.

Fighters bear significant costs including training expenses, a percentage to management, a percentage to the trainer, plus insurance, licenses, and taxes.

On the income side, sponsorship money can be a substantial portion of the purse, although it is smaller for the mid tier fighters than it was in the past.. As well there are explicit 'of the Night' performance bonuses, and less formal 'locker room' bonuses.

Main event PPV fighters can receive a percentage of the PPV gross, variously determined.

Lastly, many fighters earn income from teaching, from appearances, and in many cases from regular employment in the non fighting space.

I am guessing Chael isn't hurting with or without ppv points. They have him broadcast all the time and he is good at it. I am sure he is paid well.

And Johnny won't get a PPV cut till contract is renegotiated. I don't see why so many people think they should get more. They know wtf their contract says when they sign it.

Why would they change his contract? Hendricks is getting paid what Dana said he would if he got a shot at the title. Probably in the original contract. If he becomes camp and signs a new contract he can get PPV points ect. He has to fulfill his original contract still though.

And Fitch did not. Is not a guaranteed certainty. Is possible Sonnen gets a PPV cut or at least a thank you bonus. He wanted to fight in this card no matter the opponent.

You do realize GSP makes 3-5 million per fight, don't you? This is just the reported money to the AC and he makes more after his PPV money is figured in.My guess is Johny will get close between 500k - 1 million for this fight.
