White: 'No way' Cerrone should drop to 145

Prior to UFC 167, Donald 'Cowboy' Cerrone had expressed interest in a drop to the featherweight division after his entire career at lightweight. Cerrone is a fairly well-sized lightweight and one person who doesn't believe the drop would benefit him is UFC President Dana White:

The kid is shredded. He doesn't have an ounce of fat on his body. He has grueling cuts at 155. There's no way he should cut to 145. Not that this kid listens to anything I f-ing tell him to do anyway, but I don't like it, and I don't want him to do it.

Dana knows that Cerrone has a thick, tight and solid body and he knows that much thick , raw , sinewy muscle leaves no room to cut to 145Donald is like Dana's t shirts. They can't be made any smaller.

GSP got smashed then tried to pull some semi-retirement in the cage. At their 20th anniversary show. Dana had a lot of good things to say about GSP during that presser, stop being salty

Cowboy should go to 170, IMO. He has the frame AND I bet you he'd be like The Reem. He'd start really fucking people up with more weight on him.Cowboy vs Kampmann would be brilliant. He still has great fights left for him @ LW, though.Thompson, Miller, Khabib, Grant etc. But he'd fare well @ WW, IMO.
