Leben planning to 'break' Urijah Hall

Chris Leben is one of the UFC's longest fighting veteran and Urijah Hall was supposed to be on the sport's newest stars. Now both find themselves in the same spot, trying to fight for their job, but Leben is determined to be the man still standing:

"After what Dana said about his last fight, Hall is definitely in a must-win situation," Leben said. "We both kind of are, and that's what makes this fight exciting. It seems like this is one of those fights where the winner stays, and the loser walks. It feels like that kind of a deal.

"This is definitely a matchup for the fans. We are polar opposites, Uriah Hall and I. He's athletic. He's fancy, but when the going gets tough, sometimes Hall gets going.

"I'm the dead opposite. There isn't anything fancy about my game. I'm not the most athletic fighter in the world. I've won so many fights I should have lost on sheer grit alone. And I know that. I know that coming into this fight it is going to be straight punches and basics that win this fight for me.

"It's going to be moving forward and forcing this guy to continue to fight and hopefully somewhere along the line we are going to break him. We are going to get him out in that deep water, and he's going to fail to keep his head above."

Im HOPING Leben by KO.  Def one of my favorite fighters and not just because of the way he fights, but like someone said he has really turned around from his Tuf days, or from his sending Anderson back to Japan where the competition is easier days lol.

I'm going with Leben by KO. Hall has been unimpressive since leaving the TUF house.

Leben is 1 of my favorite fighters but I see him loosing this one via TKO Round 1. Leben leaves himself open 2 much and I think Hall will use one his kicks to capitalize on that. I see Hall landing something to the bread basket of Leben.

If Uriah is there mentally. Few can beat him. But he hasn't been there lately

It's clear the only flaw in Uriah Halls game is the mental part of it. I understand that's a large part of what fighters deal with and hope he can overcome it, would be cool.

leben is frankenstein. The only chance leben has is for hall to mentally break and start chasing the fireflies in the middle of the fight.leben was awesome, and that's the only reason he still has a job after his last few
