"At best he'll be Boondock Saints to Brock's Goodfellas."Dropping bombs. Good line. He can do the Paddy circuit: Dublin/Belfast/Manchester/Liverpool/London/Boston/NYC/Sydney/Toronto and get that same Boston response every time. Even John fucking Duddy could and was an eyebrow cut away from a MW title shot because Irish fighters sell tickets in those places.

Being big in Ireland is like being big in Denmark. In both cases, you'll want to try your hand in the USA. Everyone wants to be big in America. Hitting it in Ireland is like being the funniest guy in Iowa. You aren't in New York City or LA. Conor has been pushed so hard I'm surprised his next tattoo isn't Dana's shoe print on his buttcheeks. I think it's smart to have used him in. Boston, and smarter to use him in Dublin but the guy is sub 170 and thinking he will ever be Brock Lesnar to casual fans is absurd. At best he'll be Boondock Saints to Brock's Goodfellas. Easy to see in Boston , easy to sell in March, hard to see him becoming much bigger or honestly living up to this promise.
