Pettis: I'll fight Aldo at 145, 155, or catchweight

UFC Lightweight Champion Anthony Pettis spoke on AXS TV's Inside MMA Friday night about a potential superfight with UFC Featherweight Champion Jose Aldo.

Pettis was asked if the only way the fight happens is if Aldo comes to lightweight.

"I don't know, that's up to the UFC," replied Pettis. "I just got my belt. I think it's right that I defend my belt - he's defended his belt a lot of times already. So it's up to the UFC. What ever they decide, catchweight, 155, 145, I'm always game.

This. Cub v mendes seems interesting anyway even without an interim title

How soon people forget that Frankie really beat Aldo.Do not dispute this. It is truth and therefore indisputable. If you disagree, you are wrong.

If Pettis wants it, Aldo has no choice. He can give up his belt and cut to 145 if he's so confident. After all, most of you think it's no big deal for Aldo to vacate the title, so I assume you feel the same for Pettis.

While I agree and I'm pulling for aldo it makes since. Pettis is definitely more confident gotta admire that but aldo has so much more to lose. He's could potentially surpass Anderson's title defenses. So it's much more risky for aldo

Is that why he found a way out of the fight the first time and then decided to fight Benson not even a month later?

Aldo is the KING at 145, and 155 if he wants it.

Well it's all set then. Have Pettis vacate the belt and fight Aldo at 145 or 150.Khabib vs Melendez for the vacant 155 belt and Pettis can get another shot after losing to Aldo and then his standard 1.5 years off for injuries.

Man I like Pettis and think he's a bad dude, but I see Aldo as near invincible.  He reminds me of a motivated BJ Penn at LW.  Like the one who face raped Sherk and Sanchez.  Something about Aldo just makes me think that he won't lose until he's bored or something.
