However you rank them, the WW division is stacked, and I can't wait to see how it changes over the next year or so. So many awesome fights to be had.

1 Johny Hendricks 2 Carlos Condit 3 Robbie Lawler 4 Rory MacDonald 5 Jake Ellenberger 6 Jake Shields +17 Demain Maia+18 Tyrone woodley -29 Tarec Saffiedine 10 Matt BrownI cant think of any fighters off the top of my head who I would place over brown but that is how my top 10 would look like. I think DHK would need another solid win over a top guy before being ranked in the top 10. Perhaps the winner of Gastelum and story. Tyrone and tarec are interchangeable imo based on the fact that tyrone defeated tarec(i have him ranked over tarec). but you could very well place tarec over tyrone, since he is the recent sf ww champion.

The rankings aren't based on MMath.  They're just the collected opinions of reporters and bloggers.  Kim goes up because he's had two spectacular wins against known opponents.  He's hot right now and building a streak.  Woodly has won one fight in a row and hasn't fought since november.

Please tell us your own top 10 if you're going to use that criteria. If you've ever done ranking, you'd know that often times there _aren't_ ten people with wins over Top 10 fighters once you exclude people who have fallen by the wayside. However, if you're on a hot streak and fuck up a couple of dudes who're arguably ranked inside the top 20, that generally warrants consideration. I'm not saying that the UFC's rankings are perfect, I'm not sure how Martin Kampmann falls outside the top 15 for instance, but what you're saying is not a well thought out criticism.

This is ridiculous, how are these guys becoming top 10 fighters by defeating guys who aren't even ranked in the top 10? Granted I do think he should be ranked close to the top 10 but I dont think he should be ranked over Tyrone woodley, especially since he beat a guy who has been out for a like a year.

Woodley would also finish Dong within 5 minutes. It is obvious how stupid the average MMA media person is though, Rousey top 10 p4p, regardless of how silly p4p is it's fucking hilarious.Half of the time they rank based off of perceived skill, other times based off of wins.Dong is clearly off of wins, because outside of maybe mike Pyle, every single person in the top 15 beats him rather easily. Then you have a guy with 0 wins at 205 like Chael being a top 10 ranked fighter.

How come Matt Brown keeps going up without fighting and not having a top 10 win?

Nice to see Dong making a mark, will be good to see whether he can hang with stiffer competition or flops under pressure. Certainly a name to keep your eye on.
