UFC not interested in Holm, not talking to Carano

Just yesterday Holly Holm's manager gave an interview stating that he had recent negotiations with the UFC, which he claimed went well, and expected her to sign in the near future.

Well according to the other side of the negotiation, it didn't go quite so well:

So much for Ronda Rousey's next fight being against either Holly Holm or Gina Carano.

UFC president Dana White basically ruled both those things out to UFC Tonight's Ariel Helwani on Wednesday. White said he's "not interested whatsoever" in Holm and the UFC is "not in negotiations" with Carano.

The meeting between White and Holm's manager Lenny Fresquez did not go well, White said. White is not a fan of Fresquez and how he does business. He doesn’t want to deal with him anymore after Fresquez was very public about their talks. Right now, it doesn’t look good for Holm fighting in the UFC, White said.

By default, I assume Dana is lying in these matters. Call it the Occam's razor of MMA.

Who's Ronda going to fight? She's beaten the best in her weight in a conclusive fashion, they're running out of women.

He is kind of right, both on Dana having a long and rich history of utter bullshit, exaggeration and straight up lying (particularly when it comes to negotiations, Couture being an exception), and also about any businessman worth his salt knowing what a professionalism is and how to seperate work from your personal life.    I know Vadim was a cunt and idiotic to expect any form of co-promotions late in the negotiations, but I can't help, but think Fedor might've been more open to the UFC if Dana wasn't constantly calling him a can, a fake and scared garbage. Dana being an idiot over personal issues is Bush League and if you agree with that type of dealing you must be pissed Melendez went around Dana and managed to stay in the UFC -- Dana almost let his bitchiness about negotiating with a real manager cost the Org an ultra exciting, marketable and highly talented fighter   Also, anyone who says shut your whore mouth must be both immediately respected and listened to. Don't bring parents into the conversation just cause you can't handle his riddum braj

Course if she did actually ask for over a million and wasn't just negotating then I eat my words in this one isntance.   That is a retarded sum to expect coming into the UFC considering how minimal women's boxing is as a carry over fanbase
