Arlovski back to the UFC

Andrei Arlovski is a former UFC heavyweight champion, but lost the title in 2006 to Tim Sylvia. After another loss to Sylvia, Arlovski ended his UFC career with three straight wins. Since leaving the UFC Arlovski has spent his career battling heavyweights in every major promotion that would pay him, but now after his latest stint with the WSOF, Arlovski has resigned with the UFC:

UFC President Dana White today announced the return of “The Pitbull,” tweeting, “Welcome back, Andrei Arlovski!”

MMAjunkie subsequently confirmed with a source close to negotiations that Arlovski was released from his contract with World Series of Fighting and is targeted for a UFC 174 bout opposite Brendan Schaub (10-3 MMA, 6-3 UFC). The source asked not to be named because he was not authorized to publicly discuss the matter.

This. Cutting 3 high paid guys who have had some pretty dull fights vs bringing back a fan favourite striker who's typically exciting win or lose. Makes sense to me.

The UFC is a business. Fitch and Shields do not put asses in the seats. Andrei does.

No. This post is ridiculous. Cutting guys like Fitch, Shields, and Okami who were all top 10 at the time of their release on the arguable grounds that they were destined for 2nd place to then hire a guy like Arlovski is a huge double standard on Dana's part. But then again, I've never liked Dana, total idiot, and total cunt. Anyway, positing misleading numbers like 6-1-1 when his six wins are over guys like Travis Fulton and Ray lopez ....And He fought Werdum in 2007. April of 2007 in fact. Since there's justifiable grounds to assume you have a developmental disorder I'll perform the rigors of math for you : That was 7 years ago and Werdum wasn't even top 10. Irrelevant fact is irrelevant. A word you should perhaps brush up on.I like Andre, and I hope he's putting decent money in his pocket with this new contract, I certainly wouldn't begrudge any man an opportunity to increase his lot in life ; but Arlovski isn't even top 20 in a bankrupt division.Anyway, your post is a paragon example of deranged logic. Bravo.
