Where does Jones fit in the G.O.A.T debate?

Jon Jones has won and defended the UFC light-heavyweight championship now seven times and is arguably the best light heavyweight of all-time. But where does that rank him amongst the greatest fighters of all-time?

Is Jon Jones beginning to stake his claim as the greatest UFC champion of all-time?

At least one well-respected member of the mixed martial arts community believes so.

Brian Stann is a retired fighter, a former WEC light heavyweight champion, and a current FOX UFC studio analyst.

After Jones dominated Glover Teixeira on Saturday night to defend his UFC light heavyweight title for a record seventh time and end Teixiera's 20-fight win streak, Stann declared he is on board with the notion that Jones has surpassed the two fighters generally considered the UFC's greatest champs: Anderson Silva and Georges St-Pierre.

"He doesn't have the win streak the others have," Stann said on Saturday night after UFC 172. "But the quality of opposition and the margin by which he's beaten them puts him there."

Yes my comments in this very thread about how amazing Jones is and how with a few more wins he is right there in the GOAT discussion (without even requiring HW like you said) CLEARLY makes me a troll and butthurt...lolIt's basically this for you Lazer: Anyone who refutes any of your logic is a butthurt troll because you can't come up with a good response. Just paragraphs of barely readable dribble.

Did you read: "You're plain stupid or delusional period. WTF choked out prime machida? WTF choked out Page before JBJ? WTF destroyed Shogun like that prior to JBJ? Plus he beat Gus and Evans.   BTW I don't like JBJ, but it is what it is. Only a fool would debate these things. I gave the argument against JBJ, you have ZERO yourself."   So your answer to the post of having JBJ proven strong (which a child could do BTW) which refutes your claim is to hold hands with the biggest AS troll on the board who is butt hurt as ever. Great

Read the thread. I actually said the only way for JBJ to prove GOAT at his size IMO is not to cut 24 hours out and then fight but instead to fight HW without cutting. AS was big enough to not make Forrest or Bonnar look too big, and to keep mentioning Frank Mir!  Also JBJ fought much better than AS. They both fall short. It is what it is. Find a fighter to hug balls tighter than hell that wanted (wants) to step to the absolute best he could and you'll not be butt hurt. Talk nicely if you post to me, or better yet just don't. Not sure why I lost that benifit TBH.

Later you just argued that Anderson avoided fighters from the division above his, yet you completely ignore that (using your idiotic logic) Jones is avoiding the fighters from the division above his....and he is WAY bigger (in every facet of size) relative to his opponents than Anderson. Why the double standard?
