Part of getting the UFC main stream is gaining new 'blue chip' sponsors for itself and athletes. The UFC has acquired advertising partnerships with Harley Davidson and some athletes have global sponsorship deals with Nike and Reebok.
Today the cereal brand 'Wheaties' announced that lightweight champion Anthony Pettis would be joining the team, which is great to see for fans of the sport:
The announcement came today via the official Twitter for Wheaties, but no other details of the partnership have been announced.
