That was hard to watch, BJ Penn was my favorite fighter of that era, hard seeing him like that, that presser really got to me as well.Thanks for letting us watch your greatness and journey through MMA, one of the most entertaining fighters of all time and over all amazing human being, I have so much respect for BJ Penn.

I think it's hard for most of us to relate with giving up something that you were both brilliant at and gave you pure joy. Fighters have to talk themselves into doing things against their better interest on a daily basis (ie, getting beaten up for a living), so hard to fault the guy for taking this fight.Wish him the best

Great idea but I would imagine he'd have to live in LA and I don't think BJ is the mainland living type.

Edgar looked like he was doing heavy bag training. And doing ground dummy drill. BJ did not show up at all!Respect to a legend, but this is not how i wanted to see him go out.
