Gym Rescue to debut on Spike TV

In the beginning, there was Restaurant Impossible. Then Restaurant Impossible begat Bar Rescue. Then Bar Rescue begat the creatively titled Gym Rescue, starring Randy Couture and Frank Shamrock.

In this sneak peak highlight, a gym owner in need of rescue throws his glasses ON THE GROUND, and then Frank Shamrock slams an actual door.

Some fans have charged that some reality television shows skate over the line separating reality and scripts, including this one. You be the judge.

These are the glasses on the actual ground:

Wow, so much to think about here. 1) Those auditon tapes are terrible. The owners look like they have little to no experience running a gym and what is worse is that they are asking a reality show to help them rather than going out to services that are probably available in their community to better their brand. On top of that, the "employees" they have are terrible. I don't understand why they don't just fire them. Employees like that can ruin a business before lack of money does. 2) I'm not sure what a lawsuit over a fundraiser has to do with how to run a business but yeah, as much as I like Cindy O she does have an axe to grind with Randy. Having said that, Randy expanded too fast imo and had to pull back and I am not sure if Frank's credentials are there either. At least with Bar Rescue he has a history that he can really draw from. If anything the producers should use a consultant from a real fitness chain to back up Frank and Randy's methods. 3) Dan Quinn and Dan The Wolfman. Wow...I cannot even begin to fathom what that show would look like but it would epic in nature.

As cringeworthy as that preview may be, it's nothing compared to watching Cindy O post in the forums...God help us and someone, somewhere put her back on her chain.

I've always told you I would pay money to see you vs Dan Quinn since a couple years ago when someone proposed it.  Not sure why it interests me so much but I am still willing to kick in $100 to make it happen.
