This. By the way I do think Vitor is more than likely number 2-4 in UFC's MW division. Just like I believe that Overeem is the number 1-3 HW in the world.

It doesn't matter if anyone thinks Overeem would beat Fedor or Brock because top ten rankings are supposed to be based on what you HAVE DONE, not what you COULD DO. Right now Overeem is not top ten.

You guys are listening to Dana, the same guy that had Brock listed as the #1 top heavyweight in the world and in the top 5 p4p rankings just 2 months ago. Come on really?

the problem is that once they are in the UFC they can't fight or compete anywhere else. do you understand that? if your dreams are to be the best kickboxer, best grappler, best boxer etc etc. once you join the UFC you can kiss those dreams goodbye. also there is more money fighting for several organizations than just one, sponsors etc etc. what part of that don't you understand?its about freedom...as for fedor, M-1 co-promoting with the UFC is unrealistic.

says who? all rankings are subjective BS, anyone can use any criteria they want when they make up their rankings and they will all be just as meaningless as the next guy's.

Overeem could be a threat to anyone. But he's never beaten a top five HW. I hope I'm not making this post again in two years.

Why is it so hard for you people to realize that "EVERY GREAT" fighter in the World has "EVERY OPPORTUNITY" in the World to fight in the UFC. If they or their management choose not to sign with the UFC (Fedor, Overeem) then they probably have doubts about their talent.

"obviously overeem would get wrecked by UFC fighters much more deserving of their top 10 status like mir and nogueira. it's an absolute joke that anyone could think that overeem would stand a chance against true top 10 heavyweights like them." Rankings are based on who we think would beat who. Theyre based on who has beaten who. Overeem could in theory become the number 1 HW in the world without ever fighting in the UFC, like Fedor did. But not at the rate he's going.

^ I would argue that Big Nog is over the hill and would lose against alot of fighters he would have schooled a few years ago.
