Hailed by Lawrence Kenshin as The Next Superstar of Striking, Tenshin Nasukawa, started karate at age 5 and kickboxing in the 6th grade, reportedly amassing an amateur record of 99-5-1. Then he turned pro, and is currently 17-0. When the high school student defeated Lumpinee champion Wanchalong PKSenchaigym, it became clear that Nasukawa is a fighting genius.

Nasukawa is 5′ 4″ fights at 55kg (121 lbs) and is just 18 years old. He’s 2-0 in MMA, with both fights for RIZIN, and recently did 10 UG questions.

The UnderGround: What person do you most admire?
Tenshin Nasukawa: I don’t admire anybody. It is a waste of time, I would rather train.

Q2. If you could only keep three possessions, what would they be?
TN: Cell phone / Champion belt / clothes.

Q3. If you were an animal, which animal would you want to be?
TN: Cockroach because their ability to survive is extremely high.

Q4. What is something that no one would guess about you?
TN: I am frightened easily.

Q5. What do you feel most proud of?
TN: I am proud that I am able to make a living being a fighter.

Q6. What are you most afraid of?
TN: Ghosts are freaky as hell.

Q7. What was your most embarrassing moment?
TN: When I confessed to my crush.

Q8. Why did you choose to become a fighter?
TN: I watched fights growing up and thought it was a cool way to live.

Q9. Do you believe there is life in outer space and if so, have they ever visited Earth?
TN: There is definitely life outside of Earth for sure. I believe they were here before us.

Q10. What do you wish someone would ask you?
TN: My future dreams.
