Matt Hughes is not impressed with Strikeforce

"There's just a difference on how the fighters are treated. When we walked in the hotel there were a couple of people from Strikeforce in the lobby. By gosh, I don't fight for Strikeforce so don't worry about me [but] you would've thought they would've stood up and shook Robbie's hand but nobody did. It's little things like that. You just don't feel at home. The UFC wouldn't do that."

"There's two guys back in the lockerroom and it's been three hours since they fought. And they're still waiting for someone to come and stitch them up. It's the little things that are going to drive fighters away."

Once again sorry about the late blog. Last week I was in California with Robbie, Pena, and Foster, hoping they would find a replacement so Robbie could fight. It didn’t happen and I guess I’m just spoiled being with the UFC. From what I understand, Showtime really likes to stick their nose in Strikeforce’s business and because of that I don’t think that Strikeforce will be around for much longer; but enough with that.

Seems like much to do about nothing to me. Awwww nobody rushed over to shake their hands when they entered the hotel. He kind of sounds like Arianny whining about being ignored at the airport by Karo.The stitches thing is sloppy, but really in the big picture so what? I'm sure the docs were busy with other injuries or someone screwed up a schedule or whatever. They'll learn and get better.Big picture I kind of agree with bustawithnobra... Do you want to work for the company that pays you best or the company that has free bagels on wednesdays? Personally I'd rather my employer show me the money than ply me with the little stuff.

hmm Id rather get paid than get "the little things." Those guys should have gone to the nearest hospital or had one of their guys stitch it up, there was a serious unforseen injury earlier in the night, let the fighters speak for themselves. Hughes is a dick because he made a very brash statement without investigating the facts. Truth is UFC has to do those little things because they dick their fighters with pay relative to how much they make. Lets see UFC Matt "straight-shooter" Hughes talk about that one.
