Gatorade has announced the re-signing of UFC Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre to a sponsorship agreement. While terms of deal were not disclosed the company is marking the new agreement with the release of a new commercial in Canada and online (Youtube and Facebook).
Gatorade had curiously removed GSP from its website over the past few weeks, but it’s clear now that they were planning to use his fight this week as an opportunity to hype up the signing – especially in Canada where the new commercial expects to air frequently.
The company just recently announced it’s expanding its G-Series Pro to a broader range of athletes by making it available at GNC retailers across North America. Previously the high octane mix had only been available to professional athletes.
