Mayhem vs. Stout added to Strikeforce undercard

by John Morgan | source:

A middleweight bout between Jason "Mayhem" Miller (22-7 MMA, 0-1 SF) and Nashville, Tenn.-based fighter Tim Stout (9-7 MMA, 0-0 SF) has been tapped to replace a slot reserved for heavyweight Bobby Lashley on the CBS-televised "Strikeforce: Nashville."

A source close to Stout confirmed to ( today that both parties have agreed to the fight and bout agreements will be issued shortly.

If approved by the Tennessee Athletic Commission, Miller vs. Stout will be the final non-televised bout of the April 17 event and may air on tape delay during the televised portion of the two-hour broadcast, which begins at 8 p.m. ET.

Tim Stout has a good chance and I can guarantee he will make the fight exciting. Anyone who is saying otherwise is a moron.Tim ALWAYS brings it, win-or-lose, he will be one of the most exciting fights of the night. Do yourself a favor and watch, I'm betting this fight makes it on air.

mayhem's grappling is very under-rated.hes very good. He had the choke on shields until the bell saved him.unlucky situation.

1. I'd watch Mayhem vs. Jacare 3 anyday of the week.2. He just fought Jake Shields, hasn't fought Robbie Lawler since 2006.3. It's good to see Mayhem posting on here again.

I'm glad this was added, I will be there. I teach in Mountain City so I am familiar with Tim and a fan of Mayhem. Tim has the power to make it interesting. He is called "MOAB" for a reason. It will be exciting, that is for sure.

Tim has beaten some pretty good fighters.   If Mayhem stands with Tim he will be in trouble

Mayhem fought Jacare twice in Dream, and just fought Lawler. Wouldn't mind seeing him fight Smith, though.
