Jason High should not have been cut after 1 fight. A fight that was close and exciting for all 3 rounds..

Thing is, Uno still looks like he is moving quite well. However, he's just been around too long and is not up with the guys of today and hasnt really been relevant in a while. Since he returned to Japan after his initial UFC turn, his only major win iirc was Ishida and that was due to favourable style matchup imo. He drew iirc with Kawajiri upon moving back to japan initially but i think that was one of those no decision matches or something? I think KJ dominated him. He was en route to a decision win over Hansen but ate the Nordic knee last second. As good as his performance was then, that was also, like what, 5-6 years ago? He lost to JZ, lost to Aoki, lost to Dida (who is a FW iirc) and even though it was a cut, he still lost to Kid too.Im not sure a move down to 145 would have him do much better any longer. He like, Sakurai and Gomi, old school guys from Shooto have seen their best days. Hansen too, while could still be ok at FW but already lost his FW debut to Bibiano (though apparently a close fight). The only guys from the older Shooto days that is still relevant are Aoki and Kawajiri i think. JZ can still be a top guy i think, not sure if we can consider him a Shooto guy?

I love the old Shooto guys but Uno is past his prime.

I was glad to read this. Uno is SOOOOO boring imo. He's the only guy I have ever seen that made Spencer Fisher look dull. Anyone that make a boring fight with Spencer Fisher is truely boring.Nearly all of his fights in the UFC were beyond boring unless he was getting laid out (franca, bj, gleison). When people think of Uno i think they are remembering 1996 or something and don't realize he is totally un-entertaining today.
