Jason (The Athlete) MacDonald has signed a contract to replace David Loiseau and take on John Salter at UFC 113 in Montreal, the fighter told sportsnet.ca.

The middleweight from Red Deer, Alta., verbally agreed on Monday night to the May 8 fight at the Bell Centre after it was learned that Loiseau was unable to obtain a fight licence, though MacDonald was yet to officially sign at the time.

Loiseau, himself a late replacement for an injured Nick Catone, was still hoping to resolve an issue which prevented the Montreal fighter from being licensed by the Quebec Athletic Commission, but it appears the UFC moved on to find an alternative.

Its not as though those losses were consecutive between them he got some quality wins, and who could ever forget his spinning backkick that caved in the ribs of Chainsaw Charles McCarthy, perhaps the most fluid beautiful looking kick ever thrown in the uFc.

A lot of those looked like they were to the back of the head, which is illegal, taking nothing away from his opponent but perhaps the referee should have stood them both up because of that.

Why would they be treating Loiseau as a prospect when he had lost his last 3 fights in the UFC and beaten nobody of significance outside. He's a veteran and has been around a long time, if he is unable to fight under the pressure of being cut if he loses, he needs to fight elsewhere or retire.

For the record the Crow was completly cleared of any wrong doing and he is a ladies man much like gSp, in many parts of the world being a friend to wealthy women is a noble profession.

Then why dosent the uFc give him a opponent that will keep it on the feet? why are they targeting him with fighters who will exploit his weaknesses, its almost as if they want him to lose, thats the only conclusion that can be drawn.

He's utterly lost on the ground, and when you are fighting at the highest levels (The UFC) that's just unacceptable.

The Crows octagon experience is so stop-start that its worse than having no octagon experience at all, its very distracting to him not to be able to settle into the uFc knowing he they have his back rather than how he feels now that they ar looking for any excuse to get rid of him.Its a bit harsh saying his last four appearences have been atrocious as if the results had gone a bit differently he could be looking at a title shot, perhaps it would be better to say the results were unfortunate which is a fairer description I think you would agree.Mario Miranda is a very underrated fighter a up and comer who has huge potential and as such had nothing to lose and everything to gain so was able to put 100% into the fight, he did not have the huge pressures the Crow is under both from the uFc, the athletic commissions the mob etc. If Mario Miranda was walking in the Crows shoes feeling the strain David was under he may well have folded easily too.

Uhhh, think of the $$$$$ those two have pulled in. Liddell = Former long time champ.Bonnar = TUF fight that put UFC on the map. Dana has said SB will always have a spot in the UFC because of that fight.
