War on the Mainland weigh ins

All 18 fighters for tonight's Powerhouse World Promotions' "War on the Mainland" event successfully made weight for the show on Friday evening.

Well, more or less.

Former UFC heavyweight champion and "War on the Mainland" headliner Tim Sylvia looked significantly better than he has in recent outings, as he weighed in at 274.4 pounds – just under the contracted limit of 275 pounds but almost 10 pounds heavier than the 265-pound limit generally in place for most heavyweight championship fights – with fellow UFC vet Paul Buentello.

"The Headhunter" came in well under the limit at 251.6 pounds.

It's unfortunate that this fight isn't getting it's props. I personally won't critique either guys' "seriousness", as I have been calling on and waiting for YEARS to see this matchup. This is great matchmaking, and this fight has the potential for elevated excitement. Can this be seen short of stream or attendance ?

If Tim Silvia can win this fight, then I don't think there is anyway that Dana White and the UFC will be able to deny Tim Silvia his much deserved spot in the UFC Hall of Fame.Tim Silvia Hall of Fame Inductee for 2011!If my above statement is true, God I hope the Headhunter wins.
