After some indecision as to where it would be held, the main event for Bellator 33 in has finally been set instone. Bellator welterweight champ Lyman Good will defend his title against challenger Ben Askren on October 21st at the Liacouras Center at Temple University in Center City Philadelphia. Lyman, having not fought in over a year due to injury, is itching to fight and although he can't do so in his hometown of New York City, he can give his neighbors, the citizens of Philly a great show.
“I can’t fight in my backyard, but I can fight in my neighbor’s backyard. Eddie is my neighbor and it is an honor to fight on the same card as him, especially in Philly. It will be huge! Plus it’s just a 2 hour drive from New York.”, says Good about the upcoming fight.
