i love the old Pride CroCop as much as any of those Pride guys, but this is not a good fight for him, Mir will make him look bad. He looked like hell in a win vs an injured/star struck Pat Barry. Now he fights a desperate for a win Mir. Yes Mir looked bad vs Brock/Shane, but Crocop isn't Brock/Shane. Mir is still an animal and this fight will underline this

Mir could win this fight but he is not a top 5 hwt anymore. He has one bs win over Lesnar and beat a hurt Nog. Mir is gonna sub him, or put him to sleep. Mir is still top 5 HW- just because he can't beat Lesnar or Carwin (the most physically dominant MMA fighters in the world) doesn't mean he can't thrash people his size or smaller.

I refuse to have any expectations of Cro-cop before his fights now, I built him up so much in my own head from the Pride days that now I am constantly dissappointed by his fights. Cro-cop's standup seems to lack that dangerous edge nowadays so i can see where Frank is coming from. But on the otherhand I kind of expect Mir to stand infront of him, he doenst seem to be exhibiting the same level of intelligence in the Octagon as he does ringside of late. Mir can win this fight unless he decides to kickbox.
