Sources today informed MMAjunkie.com that light heavyweights Tim Boetsch and Phil Davis have agreed to fight at UFC 123, and paperwork is on its way.
UFC 123 is expected to take place Nov. 20 at The Palace of Auburn Hills in suburban Detroit. A light heavyweight match-up between former champions Quinton "Rampage" Jackson and Lyoto Machida headlines the pay-per-view event.
Davis is less than a month removed from a short-notice fight at UFC 117 when he stepped in for injured newcomer Stanislav Nedkov and bested Rodney Wallace on points for his third-consecutive UFC win.
Boetsch recently returned to the octagon at UFC 117 following a three-fight win streak on the regional circuit and bullied newcomer Todd Brown for a unanimous decision.
