Fans looking forward to seeing Erin Toughill back in action for the first time in over a year are going to have to wait a little longer.

After withdrawing her name from a Strikeforce bout against Shana Olsen due to an inability to make 145 pounds she agreed to compete in Singapore for the Martial Combat promotion at 155lbs against the 3-0 Bao Yu Dan of China.

Citing a broken clavicle as the reason for her withdrawal from the Wednesday bout, rather than finding a replacement to face Bao Yu Dan, the fight has been scratched off the event.

Martial Combat is promoted by ESPN Star Sports and is held at the Resorts World Casino on Sentosa Island, Singapore. The event is broadcast in over 24 countries by ESPN programing to over 310 million homes.

Yes Karina won by RNCNo official time---was a very good showing...she was having BOMBS dropped on her for the first 30-40 seconds of the fight...most fighters wouldn't have been able to recover from the punishment given from the Chinese fighter.

UFC Vet Brian Gassaway with Shonie Carter in his corner facing PRIDE FC veteran Shungo Oyama who owns a win against Renzo Gracie. A bit of a feeling out process before Oyama lands a crazy overhand splitting Gassaway across the eyebrow.Shooting in, Gassaway gets caught in an Inverted Triangle Choke (Think Toby Imada) and goes to sleep. WOW. Shungo Oyama wins the Superfight belt!

Womens fight now.Karina Hallinan facing Sanda champion Yang Xiao Nan of China. Yang starts with a FLURRY of punches battering Karina from one end of the cage until they are able to clench. Karina working for a high crotch slam finally gets the takedown. Dropping into side control Karina goes to the mount where Yang holds on for dear life. Karina dropping elbows forcing Yang to turn her back exposing the RNC.

Robert Sothman of Canada facing BJJ Black Belt Arthur Cesar Go Go of Brazil. Arthur looks a bit uncomfortable standing, but is able to take down Sothman with a double leg. Good guard work being displayed by Sothman who is able to control Go Go's posture most of the round. Arthur posturing in the guard landing a flurry of punches before an upkick from Robert sends him sailing back to the canvas.Sothman refuses to enter the guard and finishes the round standing over Go Go choping his legs. Round 2 Arthur gets another takedown, passing the guard, taking the mount, winning via TKO.

Isamu Himura "2.0" faces Xavier Macay from Fairtex Ca. First two rounds were a bit slow. Round 1 shows Xavier rotating away from Isamu avoiding the clench with the Judo Black Belt and utilizing his jab. Isamu attempts several takedowns but is unable to control Xavier on the mat, who continuously works himself back standing.Round 2 Isamu finally secures several takedowns and is able to maintain top control. Not a ton of effective damage done while on top, but he does manage to pass Xavier's guard secure the back and finishes the round in the mount.Round 3 and its apparent Isamu is tired from all the takedown attempts. Xavier comes out fresh and is ready to do battle. Chopping leg kicks by the Fairtex fighter. Lands a clean head kick, and reverses an Isamu takedown, landing in the mount. Bout is ruled a controversial DRAW. I would have to agree with the crowd on my cards I had Xavier winning 2 rounds to 1.

Zhang Jing Xong controls most of the first round by landing on top after a takedown. Very little action on the ground but ref John Sharp (UFC 110 ref) lets them work. Final 10 seconds end with a flurry from both fighters Neelan getting the better of it.Round 2 starts much the way round 1 did with Zhang rotating away from the southpaw's power. Zhang clips Neelan who drops to one knee before securing a takedown. Good display of heart by Neelan. Neelan transitions to knee on the belly, mount, and takes the back. RNC win. Great fight.
