Cerrone vs. Horodecki at WEC 53 in Dec.

A lightweight bout has been added to the upcoming WEC 53 show in December, as Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone will return to action to face former IFL contender Chris Horodecki on the December 16 card.

Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone had possibly the best performance of his career when he met long time rival Jamie Varner at WEC 51 in September.

Chris Horodecki was thought to be one of the youngest and most talented fighters to step into MMA when he made his debut back in 2005. A former IFL lightweight contender, Horodecki signed with the WEC and has since gone 2-1 in three fights.

Hordecki's striking doesn't seem as leather as it was in the IFL. Most likely bcuz of the caliber of fighters in the WEC.Anyway, Cerrone has equal if not better striking, more power in his hands/kicks, better wrestling, and better submsissons....oh and reach.

This could be a worse beatdown than the Njokuani and Ryan Schultz ones.

Horodecki is a tough dude but Cerrone has every technical and physical advantage in this fight. Cerrone by decision.

This is a fine fight. Anybody complaining that "Horodecki doesn't deserve to fight Cerrone," should tell that to Cowboy because he's the one that suggested the matchup in his post-fight interview on the Daily Line after his rematch against Varner.I would rather see both Cowboy and Varner fight different opponents anyway as the WEC's 155lbs division is at risk of becoming stagnant with so many rematches and variations of fights involving Cerrone, Varner, and Bendo.
