Branch vs. Attonito set for TUF 12 finale

Middleweight Dave Branch (7-1 MMA, 1-1 UFC) soon will fight "The Ultimate Fighter 11" cast member Rich Attonito (9-3 MMA, 2-0 UFC).

Bout agreements recently were signed for the fight, which takes place at The Ultimate Fighter 12 Finale.

The event, which concludes the current season of the UFC's long-running reality series, takes place Dec. 4 at The Pearl at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.

It's not clear if Branch vs. Attonito will be part of the night's Spike TV main card.

Rich trains with Ricardo Liborio and Marcos Parrumpinha Da Matta everyday so he should be fine jujitsu wise. And he did well on the ground with Natal as well in his last fight.

Harris and Rich are completely different fighters. I train with/under Branch at Edge Hoboken and he has been working with Dave Esposito for the past 6 months on his wrestling along with other very good wrestlers so he will be able to handle Rich's wrestling. This is a really good matchup, they are both good on the feet, Branch has great Jiu Jitsu and good wrestling and Rich has great wrestling and good Jiu Jitsu so its an interesting style match up.

And Branch can't handle his wrestling, if Harris beats branch Rich beats Branch, simple as that

I've seen Branch alot of the east coast grappling scene.He is a Renzo Gracie blackbelt and very strong tough ground guy.Rich cant match his jujitsu.

Conditioning and stand up will take this fight. Rich's take down defense is excellent, and he has more power in his hands with better stand up. Attonito via TKO
