I'd say 50/50 with a 100% chance of it happening soon if it hasn't already. They call people like Jeremy Jackson "goofs" in prison and there isn't much tolerance for them.

Going to prison for 15-25 years, stating you're a rapist, becoming a registered sex offender and pretty much having your life ruined = a life sentance in my book.I would have took the gamble and gone to trial.Either you lose at trial and have your life ended, or you just plead guilty and have your life end without even fighting for it in court.

So to sum up this thread:Innocent until proven guilty...unless you just plead guilty and they don't need to bother proving it...in which case you are obviously innocent but the stress got to you.

A lot of people seem to have lost sight of who the Victim is in this unfortunate situation. Thanks for this post.

Any time you plead guilty there is some type of deal. I am not saying a guy has never been found guilty and was innocent, but there must have been a lot of evidence stacked against him to say he didn't do it but plead guilty to rape.
