Chris Horodecki is the latest fighter to be released from Zuffa's lightweight roster.

The 23-year-old London, Ontario, Canada, native was submitted by Donald Cerrone at WEC 53 in the promotion's final event before ceding its talent to the UFC.

"One door closes and another one opens," Horodecki today told MMAjunkie.com. "I'll be back sooner than later."

lordbreakdown speaks from experience and with inside information. Otherwise he wouldnt be crazy enough to bash someones management. I mean getting to the WEC is easy peezy and if lordbreakdown was in charge Horodecki would probably be champ.oh im just terrible.Big Rig

Zuffa has about a hundred fighters more than needed under contract at the moment. It's not gonna take much to get cut for the next while. Trust me, I know. The good news is, you're never more than one big win away from an amazing comeback.

He tends to look pretty soft at fight time.I don't care waht weight class, but his last few fights he seems to have lost his fire.

He's young, talented, and works hard. Nothing to worry about. He'll be back, for sure. Keep at it, Chris.

Chris is huge for 155. He's about a thick as a steel girder so making 145 would be serious work. He might be able to do it though. As it is, he's 23, he'll be fine and back in the big show.
