Menjivar vs. Valencia in the works for UFC 129

A bantamweight contest pitting two fighters looking to rebound from a recent loss is in the works for April.

MMAjunkie.com has learned that Ivan Menjivar (21-8 MMA, 0-1 UFC) and Charlie Valencia (12-6 MMA, 0-0 UFC) have verbally agreed to meet at UFC 129.

Bout agreements are expected to be finalized shortly.

Awesome! Would be tight to see Menjivar back in the UFC. I still think he won that fight with Serra. I really want to see him do well

MMA needs more guys like Menjivar. Ultra-talented and never fights safe. He honestly seems more interested in putting on a great fight and expressing his skills than in just getting the W.
