MacDonald back in UFC, fights Jensen in Toronto

Jason (The Athlete) MacDonald will make his return to the Octagon at UFC 129 in Toronto, taking on Ryan Jensen on April 30, sportsnet.ca has learned.

Sources told sportsnet.ca that both parties have agreed and contracts should be signed by Saturday morning.

MacDonald, from Red Deer, Alta., has not fought since suffering a major leg injury in a loss to John Salter last May at UFC 113 in Montreal.

Lol, Jensen is still on board? He is married to Dana's sister or something. Good fight for Jmac, he should win this one by tko in the 2nd or so.

What's not to like about JMac. He is a stand up guy, a great father to his clan of kids and always has the time to stop and be polite to the fans. It has been a pleasure to watch as his career progressed through the minors and into the UFC.

Always liked MacDonald because he's a guy that comes to fight. Hopefully he's recovered from his broken leg and puts in a strong performance.
