 The X-ray:

Frenchman Xavier Foupa-Pokam saw action for the first time this year when he took center stage at 100 Percent Fight 4 this past weekend. Returning to his homeland of France, Foupa-Pokam locked horns with fellow UFC veteran Lucio Linhares in the evening's main event.

Midway through the second round of their contest Foupa-Pokam submitted to a tight triangle choke, marking three consecutive defeats for the up-and-down striker known as “Professor X”. Incredibly, Linhares got the submission after suffering a broken arm in the first round blocking a kick.

Linhares has now won two consecutive bouts since his release from the UFC early last year, another high profile victory could potentially lead to a second chance with the UFC.

Besides the obvious, this xray shows some pretty significant elbow arthritis. I've often wondered what these fighters' bodies endure, and the picture isn't very pretty at least this one isn't. He'll need surgery to fix his ulna, which will heal, but his elbow is not going to get better...(I dabble in orthopedics)

With all those loose pieces, wouldn't he have all kinds of serious problems with the next kick he blocked?Max

EasyTapper, it's not fake, and Linhares continued to fight with the broken arm, winning with a triangle in the 2nd. :)

The picture is 100% real. Lucio is a true warrior and giving up is not part of his vocabulary. Also, he is my friend and teacher, and I'll be sure to tell him about this thread and the forum. :)
