Brown tears ligament in hand versus Yahya

Thanks for the continued support. Wanted to let everyone know that i'm doing fine, but I tore a radial cruciate ligament in my left hand in the first round of the fight. Surgery tomorrow. A crazy month for sure.

It's crazy to watch his 2 fights with Faber and his drubbing of Garcia, even his fight with Curran and then watch Rani Yahya pretty much dominate him and believe it's the same guy...isn't it?  Crazy how fast it fell apart for him. Love MTB, I'll watch him wherever he fights next.

Jjj2121 I fear you are correct. It might be what is best for him to get his confidence back. Stinks to have peaked a year before being in the UFC

At his age, injuries will be occurring with much more frequency, not less.MMA is a very tough sport on those guys in their late thirties.Wish him all the luck in the world, but perhaps it's time for a new occupation. The wear and tear seems to be catching up with him.

Not sure why you would think that is the case...and MTB, love the guy, but he's not a draw.  I'll be surprised if he's not cut.  The one thing that may spare him the axe is the fact that he turned around to fill a card spot 3 weeks after his last fight.

I think UFC is going to be a lot more lenient with 135/145'ers until the dust settles with integrating the new divisions.  I hope they give him another shot.
