Jon Jones has a staredown as unique as his fighting style – he stares blankly into the distance, seemingly oblivious to the opponent.

That stare was in full effect at the UFC 128 pre fight press con staredown between Jones and Rua, but it may not have had the desired effect.

Shogun: “Hello my frfiend let’s have a good, clean fight.”

Jones: “Boy is he underdressed”

Jones: “Must avoid eye contact and intimidate Shogun”

Shogun: “Wait, wat’s he looking at? Is there a ring card girl over there?”

Jones: “Dang it all he still is not looking at me not looking at him.” ***clenches fist***

Shogun: “I still can’t figure out what he is looking at. I feel like a bobo.”

Shogun: “Dunno what that was all about.”

Jones: “Ack I left my left fist in my suit pocket.”

Shogun: “I wonder what’s on TV?.”

Jones: “Shoot that worked on everyone else …”
