Cung Le has fought just twice in the last three years. Aside frrom splitting a pair of memorable matches with Scott Smith, he's been quite busy making movies in both the U.S. and Hong Kong.

"Now that he's back from Hong Kong an China, we're scheduled to talk next week," Strikeforce CEO Scott Coker said. "If Cung wants to fight, the invitation will be there. Hopefully he'll want to continue because he's an amazing athlete and fighter. He's been one of the pillars of Strikeforce in building this company. I certainly hope he continues to fight."

"He's doing very well with the Hong Kong and Chinese film markets, as well as some projects in America. So it's a scheduling thing. It's going to be something that could happen. He'll have to determine if he wants to, and if he has the time."

Le currently has three movies in various stages of production:
"Dragon Eyes," with Jean-Claude Van Damme and Peter Weller;
"The Man with the Iron Fists," with Russell Crowe; and
"The Grandmasters," with Ziyi Zhang.

hands down the best action star from mma, his choreography is way better than fight scenes from other movies.  u gotta be good after filming with Wong Kar Wai, Donnie Yen, and Woo Ping...

Anderson has struggled against Asians, Okami aint afraid of him neither is Cung.  Jake is coming over to fight GSP, Cung should come over, have a tune up against a top ten middle weight and if he wins, Anderson vs Cung.

Matches up well against Anderson, who struggles against Asians.

Cung brings a crew with him to train while he's on movie sets.  If something big lands on his lap, he'll put Hollywood on hold.  The thing is, he's paid his dues and movies are paying him a shit load...  Props to Cung.

Would love to see him fight more too but a couple of those films in production sound badass. Good for Cung either way!

Damn... sucks that he's not fighting because I'd love to see Le v. Akiyama... but it's good that his career is going so well. I remember renting Pandorum or whatever randomly and then seeing him just pop up on screen lol.
